ALL DIGITAL SALES ARE NOW PROHIBITED on eBay auctions and within eBay stores, unless sold & shipped on a CD!
March 31, 2008 Blog Entry
Unfortunately as of March 31, 2008 eBay will no longer allow its sellers to sell digital download items or digital items that are sent via email, to customers by way of auction bid wins or from within a sellers store with a fixed price thru eBays popular "BUY IT NOW" feature. These purchases can only be made via eBays' classified listing ads, that the seller must pay for at a crazy listing fee.... per item $9.99.
Selling digital items thru eBays classified ads area only, as eBay is now requiring for digital products.... appears to me to be a pretty shaky territory not only for the seller, but for the buyer as well.
I honestly don't see a safety factor there for buyers being sent what they purchase and I see an outrageous listing fee of $9.95 PER item listing for the seller, even if the item does not sell within 30 days.
Additionally, and most importantly eBay will no longer allow digital delivery purchase feedback from buyers or sellers. Should a problem arise between the parties involved eBay will no longer be there to mediate or to help either party be protected against any injustice or fraud.
After much review and consideration of eBays new digital items policy and lack of structure for all involved, I am applaled at eBays newly implimented digital delivery policy.
Shortly, the EZ4U Templates team programmers; will be implementing a feedback system area on our website (similar to eBays way of posting feedback) so that customer feedback can be left after purchasing items to help our customers and potential customers know that we are a reputable, honest and professional seller of quality products that you can trust.
With digital delivery permitted on our official EZ4U Templates website, we will be able to offer even lower prices to customers with auction seller and web site needs.
Smiles & Laughter Always, Ellen
